RESTRICTIONS ON WHEELCHAIRS
Whilst we are very happy to accept both manual and electric wheelchairs on our flights, unfortunately we are unable to accept any wheelchairs heavier than 60 kgs or any non-collapsible wheelchairs taller than 82 cms.

A Letter to Pilgrims
Dear Pilgrim
After a very busy year with Lourdes celebrating the 150th anniversary of the apparitions of 1858, we want to thank all our regular pilgrims and the many new clients who have made 2008 so successful. A special word of appreciation to our group organisers and pilgrimage directors, who work so hard bringing together their pilgrims.
For 2009, our core programme of flights to Lourdes will be operated by FLYBE, who are a major regional airline with an excellent reputation. The airline flies approx. 75 aircraft to more than 45 destinations in the UK & Europe and is partly owned by British Airways. They will be operating one of the newest planes in the country, the Embraer 195.
In 2008 we were able to offer a guarantee of no fuel surcharges on our Lourdes charter and this proved a great benefit to our clients as many other pilgrims had to pay surcharges owing to the high cost of fuel in summer 2008.
Costs have risen and the exchange rate difference has affected prices across the board. However, we are pleased to offer the same NO FUEL SURCHARGE guarantee for 2009 on the Manchester-Lourdes flights.
As we go to press with our brochure the world markets are in turmoil and therefore we cannot make the same guarantee on exchange rates should the pound substantially drop against the euro but we will of course work within the price guarantee of our booking conditions.
The standard of catering on board flights has deteriorated over the years and we consider that these do not now offer our pilgrims quality and value. In line with all major tour operators in the UK our flights will now offer only “buy onboard catering”.
2009 is a new challenge - our 43rd Year - with numerous groups enquiring for Fatima, Rome, the Holy Land and many more places of pilgrimage. If you are considering a pilgrimage we would be delighted to hear from you. Coach Tours - We are pleased to provide to interested groups (minimum of 30 persons) a selection of different coach pilgrimages. Depending on the duration, we can visit a few or many places of religious interest.

The air holiday packages [or flights] shown are ATOL Protected, since we hold an Air Travel Organiser's Licence granted by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is ATOL 0138. Please see our booking conditions for more information. ATOL protection extends primarily to customers who book and pay in the United Kingdom.
