In the heart of Spain, at the historic city of Avila with its fantastic medieval fortified walls, we find the base from which to discover the great Carmelite reformers - Saint Teresa of Avila and Saint John of the Cross.
We include visits to the ancient university city of Salamanca, where St John of the Cross studied, Alba de Tormes where St Teresa was buried and Segovia, the final resting place of Saint John of the Cross, with its fairytale castle and famous Roman aqueduct.
