Nevers and Paris

Convent of St Gildard

As Nevers is closer to Paris than Lourdes we are offering the opportunity to visit the Convent of St Gildard, where St Bernadette lived, in conjunction with a visit to Paris.

Nevers is a relatively small town and only has a few hotels so Paris will be our base. Flights are from Liverpool to Paris, with transfers to a city hotel where 3 nights’ accommodation is arranged on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2 - will consist of a full excursion to Nevers which is less than 3 hours from Paris. During this day we will visit the Convent where St Bernadette lived and pray in the Chapel where her body is enshrined. We will have lunch in the convent returning to Paris in the evening.

Day 3 - will include a half day excursion visiting the sites of Notre Dame, Sacre Coeur and the Chapel of the Miraculous Medal in the Rue du Bac followed by free time in Paris

Day 4 - return to Liverpool
