Independent Pilgrims

Many of you want to take advantage of short breaks when it is most convenient for you travel so we are pleased to offer transfers and hotel accommodation at a basic price. We will add the price of the airfare to the price when we have checked out the best prices being offered by the different airlines.

Excursions can be booked in the hotel, or take the metro to see the city. There are also two tourist bus routes which visit the main places of interest in the city which you can join and leave at any point on the route.

ALIMANDI HOTELS

• 3-star Hotel Alimandi Tunisi is owned and personally run by the Alimandi family, Rome hoteliers for three generations.
• Easily accessible by public transport,
• Located near the entrance to the Vatican Museums, within walking distance of St Peter's Square
• A good selection of reasonably-priced restaurants, café-bars and shops in the immediate area
• Comfortable en-suite rooms
• Generous buffet breakfast
• Friendly service of the Alimandi family and staff characterise both hotels.
• All bedrooms have TV and hair-dryer.
• Bar, piano lounge, billiards room and rooftop terrace, where breakfast is served.

Access to the area of the Museums is via a flights of stairs. The entrance of the Alimandi Vaticano (directly opposite the Museums) is accessible for wheelchairs, whilst there are steps with a stair lift at the entrance to the Alimandi Tunisi.

• Located in Borgo Pio, one of several narrow streets north of St Peter's Square, which is just a few minutes' walk away.

• The hotel entrance is accessible for wheelchairs.
• Public transport available within easy walking distance
• Good range of restaurants, café-bars and shops in the Borgo Pio and surrounding area.
RELIGIOUS GUEST HOUSES

We can offer to our clients good quality accommodation in religious houses in the city. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities and breakfast is included. Most of the smaller ones do not have a night porter so you have to be in by 11pm but some of the larger ones provide 24hour Reception and dining facilities.
