Lourdes Pilgrimages 2012

Pastoral Theme

"With Bernadette, praying the Rosary"

The Rosary forms an integral part of a Catholic’s life. Today we are being invited to join Bernadette and follow the “Way of Mary” contemplating with her on the life of Our Lord as expressed in each of the 20 decades of the Rosary. Part of a pilgrimage to Lourdes is the recitation of the Rosary - it is a meeting with Mary, with Jesus, with our fellow pilgrims. This meeting involves taking the initiative, going in search of others, serving others, bringing people into our lives. The fruit of this experience, of this communion is bringing the presence of Our Lord into the heart of our pilgrimage.

Lourdes, its association with Our Lady and St Berndette and the healing properties of its waters is famous throughout the world as a destination for pilgrims. Mancunia Travel offers a variety of options for pilgrimage.
