We are delighted to be working once again with Flybe, the “Number One Regional Airline in Europe”, in operating our direct flight from Manchester to Lourdes. We will be using an Embraer 175 aircraft, which is ideally suited for the carriage of pilgrims with reduced mobility as the seating configuration enables easy access for embarking and disembarking. The Embraer 175 is part of Flybe's Green Fleet and is a new addition to their fleet.

Our direct flight from Manchester to Lourdes offers a unique service which is not provided by any other company on a regular basis. Flights operate out of Terminal 3 which is Manchester’s smallest and most compact Terminal so avoiding long distances from check-in to departure gate.

With only a two hour flight time and an airport transfer to the centre of Lourdes of only 20 minutes our flight offers the most convenient and fastest service to Lourdes from the Northwest of England.

Lourdes Airport was built primarily to welcome pilgrims visiting the Shrine. It handles thousands of flights throughout the season and is sympathetic to those pilgrims who have special needs and requirements. It has an excellent supply of wheelchairs and lifting facilities to deal with these pilgrims and in some respects is better equipped than other airports in the region such as Toulouse.

The no-frills carrier jet2.com offers a budget service from Scotland and the North West to Toulouse. This large international airport serves the important aviation centre for Airbus Industries and is approximately a 2 hour drive from Lourdes. Owing to our experience in the past we do not recommend this airport for people with reduced mobility needs.
