A Pilgrimage may be defined as 'a journey to a distant sacred goal'.
All the great faiths of the world have places which they hold sacred to their beliefs and to which many followers feel called to travel.
The external act of a Pilgrimage is mirrored internally by a journey of the soul in which the pilgrims seek to rediscover the source of their faith and improve their spiritual life.
Pilgrimages may vary considerably in terms of time and location and also by mode of transport, for example, pilgrims to Santiago de Compostela, a place of pilgrimage since medieval times, may still travel on foot, following the route of early pilgrims and staying at hostels en route.
Mancunia Travel does not expect our pilgrims to walk though! Travel is by various aircraft to your chosen country and then by air-conditioned coach during your stay.
